 Level 1:  Historically Accurate Replicas              

 General Notes:   

 We re-create your existing architectural element just as it was when it was new

 however with new modern durable materials

 Step 1) Initial Assessment

 a) Provide us with your Contact details ie Name, Ship to & Bill to Address

 b) Photos of Existing Element(s)

 c) All Micro Measurements Length, Height, Width etc

     of the Old Piece to be duplicated

 d) We will assess the feasibility of your requirements

 

 Step 2) Drawings (mandatory for Historic Accurate Replicas)

 If you are a qualified architect or designer

  - supply us with CAD drawings - plan views / cross sections / elevations

    otherwise commission us to do the drawings for you (fee per service)

    Revisions are charged as per current fee schedule

 

  - For specific details of the element

    Supply us with a separate detail drawing that shows depths, widths

    and heights of the detail. 

 

 Manufacturing cannot interpret an artistic rendering as a specific

 detail showing 3 dimensions.

 Indicate how deep, wide and high each detail is to be.

 

 If no drawing is available,  Manufacturing will assess the detail to the best

 of their ability as the replicas are hand carved.

 

 simple sketches, photos, or renderings are not architectural drawing for historic duplicates

 

 Step 3) Material Selection 

 

  We will assess the most suitable material for your application keep in mind

  fire codes, location, durability and use.  You are responsible for informing us

  about your local building codes that apply to material specifications.

 Step 6) The Old Piece

 

  Ship us the old broken architectural element

  Wrap it well and ship to Imperial Productions New York or Toronto for duplication

 

 Step 7) The manufacturing process

  Once you accept the quote and sign off on the shop drawings,

  the custom product(s) will be made to the closest measurements that

  manufacturing allows (providing for manufacturing tolerances) 

 

 Step 8) Timing

  Once the quote is accepted by you and full payment is made, Imperial Productions

  accepts the commission. 

  Timing starts from the time you sign the shop drawings not the Quote or Payment Date

 

  Times are approximate only

  They can be guaranteed with a separate agreement through our legal department

  - bonding performance & insurance charges will apply at your cost

  Any delays by manufacturing, customs, or freight carriers are not the responsibility

  of Imperial Productions and are out of our control for timing compliance 

 

 Step 9) Installation

 

  The application of the product to the job site is the responsibility of the

  architect, designer, structural engineer, or contractor.  The suitability of

  product materials must be determined by you.

  No affixing hardware is supplied, all items are sold as building components

 

 

 

 

 Level 2:  Look A Like Replicas                                     

 General Notes:   

 We recreate your existing architectural element just as it was when it was new

 however NOT to exact details as in Level 1 service all with new modern materials

 Step 1) Initial Assessment

 a) Provide us with your Contact details ie Name, Ship to & Bill to Address

 b) Photos of Existing Element(s)

 c) All Micro Measurements Length, Height, Width etc

     of the Old Piece to be duplicated

 d) We will assess the feasibility of your requirements

 

 Step 2) Drawings

 You supply sketch drawings or photographs

 Supply measurements of 3 dimensions of the element and design details

 If you require drawings commission us to do the drawings for you (fee per service)

 Revisions are charged as per current fee schedule

 

  - For specific details of the element

    Supply us with a separate detail drawing that shows depths, widths

    and heights of the detail.
